Formwork wing nut and tie rod / formtie nut / flange nut
Formwork tie rod performs as the key important member in tie rod system, holding formwork panels. Usually used together with wing nut, waler plate, water stop, etc. Also it is enbeded in concrete used as lost part.
Generally speaking, tie rod system is used to connect and anchor formworks in construction.
3 diameters of tie rod available: Ø15.0mm, Ø20.0mm, Ø26.5mm.

The cold rolled tie rod material is weldable and bendable, shearing loads and bending stress are possible. Because of these mentioned reasons, cold rolled tie rod is used preferred in prefab elements and formwork.
Working with tie rod, formwork wing nut is used to hold and fasten formwork panels tightly.
Various thread are available, such as: for tie rod dia 15/17mm and dia 20/22mm.
Wing nuts with customized shape and sizes are available on request.
